This Tentative agreement represents everything that is broken in the ALPA National structure. Desperation is producing an inferior agreement. The MEC has lost control of its leadership and Negotiating Committee. The line pilot is not being represented. "Bottom-up" representation is dead under ALPA.

June 2, 2012 TA Analysis by ALPA Rep (Must Read)
While several Delta MEC Reps have taken the time to comment on the Tentative Agreement, certain ones stand out in the presentation of open and honest commentary. Because of this letter, and others like it, Delta Pilots now have solid proof that the ALPA Contract Survey was disregarded by the ALPA Negotiating Committee and the MEC Administration. We now have solid proof that ALPA is only interested in a quick contract in order to speed up the flow of increased dues to ALPA National coffers. We now have solid proof that Delta Pilots are not being represented, but are instead, being manipulated for gain by other interests. It will be no surprise if additional Duty of Fair Representation or "DFR" lawsuits are filed against ALPA. This assessment does more than just encourage a simple "NO" vote on the TA, it validates the desperate need to remove Delta Pilots from the twisted wreckage of a once great union and create a new and independent representation seeking only our desires.

June 2, 2012 TA Analysis by Other ALPA Reps
Current ALPA Reps that are mired in internal conflict are still good people at their core. Analysis of this TA is best presented, in some cases, by those who were in the fray. DPA will provide additional analysis, of course, but it is unlikely that we could say it much better than how some of the current ALPA reps already have.
All Delta Pilots are highly encouraged to print the attached document below and use it for reference when discussing the deep pitfalls of the TA. You really do not need any other evidence to justify a "NO" vote against this TA and a "YES" vote for exclusive representation through DPA!
